Yes, Microsoft has decided to run DNA test’s to find out how they can improve there products for consumer, well its not the medical DNA test so don’t be scared is just a web based Visual DNA test.
The test is quite simple you log on the URL given below and then they ask questions and in response to there answers you select images. Once the test is complete they provide you with a result compared with thousands of people who have already taken the test. Its quite good to see how similar or different your preferences are, and some time’s the results do seem real.
The test system is powered by Imagini, “web-based tool that captures the visual preferences of consumers”.

I can see the advantages — it’s clear that participants give MS a load of brand-awareness and consumer aspirations during this farcical exercise. If they can induce enough suckers to play this game, they’ll have a map for all future ad campaigns.
“Your *unique* VisualDNA signature tells us that you might enjoy . Why don’t you proceed to ?”
